Lakshya Trust works to improve the lives of gay, bisexual, transgender, Hijra and Koti communities in India, with a focus on dignity, wellbeing, inclusion and equal opportunity.
Its work addresses the interconnected social, economic, legal, psychological, spiritual and health-related challenges experienced by sexual and gender minorities. Through community-based initiatives, health outreach, counselling and education, Lakshya seeks to strengthen individuals, build understanding and create opportunities for greater participation in society.

HEALTH & WELLBEING
HIV/AIDS Outreach & Awareness
Lakshya works to improve access to HIV prevention, education and sexual health services among vulnerable communities. Its approach combines community outreach, awareness and support to encourage safer practices and access to appropriate care.
COMMUNITY & BELONGING
Queer Bagh Rajpipla
A resource centre serving LGBTQIA+ communities, Queer Bagh operates from a historic palace property. Its vision is to build understanding, promote visibility and equality, strengthen community connections and create opportunities for education and awareness.
RIGHTS & SUPPORT
Legal Counselling Center
Lakshya works on legal and social issues, including domestic violence and matters affecting women. Its published work describes guidance and counselling services offered regardless of gender, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic background, alongside a dedicated legal support cell for women.
